Connie’s style is relaxed and casual and stiff poses are avoided, although there are times when she may “set the stage”. Using a mixture of documentary style photography and relaxed poses ensures the creation of natural, genuine portraits that you will treasure for years to come. Her casual, unrushed approach to photography allows time for your child to get familiar with her, as well as to take breaks for snacks or clothing changes. Following the child’s lead, she will do whatever it takes to capture the giggles, the curious stares, and the expressions that speak to you. If there is one word that parents consistently use to describe her sessions, it is "patient".

The Session.
Barefoot Photography accepts a limited number of commissions due to the highly personalized nature of the work. During busy seasons, the schedule is often booked a month or more in advance. Please schedule well in advance to ensure the best selection of dates.
Expectant parents are encouraged to book before their baby is born for a tentative date. If you have a newborn and did not schedule prior to the birth, please inquire as we try to accommodate these sessions whenever possible.
Please inquire for sessions outside of 20 miles from Annapolis. We regularly travel to Baltimore and Washington DC and have even been known to fly out to different states for sessions!
The fee for a photo session with Barefoot Photography is $295.

Desk-sized prints start at $50 and our wall portrait pricing begins at $195.
Collection pricing begins at $1395 which includes your session fee, wall portraits, and a generous selection of prints.
Digital negatives are available as a collection as well as for individual purchase.
